This 33 year old Employee from Marlboro, Massachusetts was hired by a Hampden, Massachusetts, company, to install Greenhouses across the United States. This employee was working on Long Island, NY when he fell over 20 feet through the glass of a green house he was installing. He was taken to a local Trauma Center where he was treated for massive internal injuries as well as broken arms and other orthopedic issues.
He made a dramatic recovery from his injuries and was eventually able to return to work full time. His worker's compensation claim was settled for $91,000 and his medical benefits remain open for the rest of his life. With the help of a New York City law firm a case was brought against the general contractor who was responsible for the overall safety of the jobsite for violations of OSHA. Motor Vehicle Accident with Brain Injury
This 30 year old plaintiff from Chelmsford, Massachusetts was a driver on Route 3 North, in Billerica, Massachusetts. While driving in the left lane, she encountered heavy traffic and slowed to accommodate same. Suddenly and without warning, she was struck from the rear by a vehicle, who failed to brake and who was traveling at a speed in excess of the conditions required. As a result of the impact, our client's vehicle was propelled approximately 50 feet into the middle of the road.
